"Fake" Sconce Light

Electrical is not my strong point, or at least when it comes to ADDING new lighting connections. I think that is why I love this trick SO much! With this trick you can make any space in your home light up & add a custom look.

Our guest room is the first room I attempted this project on, but I ensure you I will be using it again in multiple rooms. There are two different ways to attach the "fake" light, or puck light. One is with a simple plumbing attachment, and the other is industrial strength velcro. I used the plumbing fitting and hot glue in my DIY.

WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS DIY:

We decided to hang our pendant puck lights from the ceiling in our guest room. The pendants are screwed into studs in the ceiling and the glass pendant light shade screwed into place. To create the puck lights I used a hot glue gun to attach the plumbing fitting to the puck light.

SIDE NOTE: THESE LIGHT DO NOT COME WITH BATTERIES.

Due to the plumbing fitting you should be able to screw the puck light straight into the fixture as if it were a light bulb.

I plan on also using pendant lights in our master bedroom and possibly even our living room! Cheap & Easy DIY!
